Tiffany McNeill, Economic Development Director
Tiffany McNeill is the Town of Fuquay-Varina’s Economic Development Director—manages the Town’s economic development program, focusing on business growth and retention for the entire community and the special business needs of the downtown district businesses.
Tiffany has more than 18 years of experience working in economic and workforce development. She held positions with the State of North Carolina at the North Carolina Department of Commerce, Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina and in local government with the City of Raleigh’s Office of Economic Development and Innovation and led workforce development efforts for Duke Energy in the Carolinas and the Midwest. Tiffany is a Certified Economic Developer by the International Economic Development Council.
Tiffany attended East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C., receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration. She also received her Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Economics from North Carolina Central University in Durham, N.C. She holds a certificate in economic development from the University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute.
In addition to her academic achievements, Tiffany was appointed to the Board of Directors at the Carolina Small Business Development Fund and is the Chair of their Policy and Research Committee, a member of NC Economic Developers Association, American Association for Blacks in Energy as well as various community organizations.
